If you can only improve one thing, improve sleep. Not a stack, not a protocol — the hours. Members who moved bedtime 40 minutes earlier for a month saw readiness scores and session quality move together. The training plan barely changed.
We treat late-night high-intensity work as a tax. Heat and light in the evening are scheduled, not accidental. The band will suggest a sauna block instead of another threshold session if your last four nights were short.
Protecting sleep is unglamorous, which is why it works. The session you skipped because you went to bed is often the one that compounds.
